Polaris sportsman 500 stator test - 1998 sportsman 500 no spark. I recently rebuilt my 500 sportsman after the magnets on my flywheel broke loose and completely destroyed my stator. After careful reassembly I tried to start and to my surprise no spark. The motor turns over fine until the battery goes dead on me.
